Jeremy Marquez-Simanca is a Chicano artist, graphic designer, and illustrator based in New York City. He co-founded and served as the curator of the acclaimed Revoluciones Collective Art Space in Denver, and pursued his studies in communication arts and graphic design at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Alongside his freelance design work, Marquez-Simanca also holds the position of Art Curator at Monologging.org and serves as the Creative Director at Mpaqt.

In a recent commissioned project titled “Reciproca,” he created a striking 6500 sq ft projection-mapping public artwork on the D&F tower for Night Lights Denver. “Reciproca” is a dynamic motion graphics tribute to the Futurist and Constructivist art movements, carrying a core theme that champions mutual aid, support, and volunteer cooperation.

Marquez-Simanca proudly unveiled his inaugural screening of “Chicanofuturismo” at the 2023 Summer Institute & Latino Action Council Summit at CSU Pueblo. “Chicanofuturismo” is a microcinematic homage to the Chicano mural tradition with a Sci-Fi and Futurist twist. Its primary mission is to propagate Carnalismo, a brotherhood rooted in indigenous values of mutual help and support. Through a unified Chicano identity, “Chicanofuturismo” seeks to attain liberty and unity in both the present and the future.
