Kinetic and Static Pitchdecks for Film

I undertook a Pitchdeck project aimed at presenting author Lee Matthew Goldberg’s published novel, “Slow Down,” for potential film adaptation, currently in a shopping agreement phase represented by The Rights Factory.

The primary challenge involved distilling the novel’s dark and surreal atmospheres into a concise yet vivid representation. My initial tasks included crafting the logline, synopsis, and character breakdowns after thoroughly immersing myself in the novel’s narrative. I skillfully blended this newly generated content with stock photography and graphic enhancements, culminating in a cinematic presentation that effectively captures the novel’s hallucinogenic essence.

Simultaneously, I also produced an audiovisual motion graphics version of the pitchdeck, featuring the evocative soundtrack “Ascenseur pour l’Échafaud” by Miles Davis. This video presentation was designed to emulate title credits and offer a film preview-like experience, further enhancing the New York noir ambiance of “Slowdown.”
